Responsible Gaming

You set the terms of your own gambling, and the habits below are what keep it a paid-for pastime rather than a problem. None of them needs special tools. They work because they settle the important decisions before the excitement of play can make them for you.

A few habits keep gambling in its place

Decide the amount before you start. A figure chosen calmly, before the first bet, reflects what you can actually afford. A figure chosen mid-session tends to reflect how the session is going.

Treat that amount as already spent, the way you would treat the price of a concert ticket. If you expect it back, every loss feels like a debt to recover. If you have written it off, anything left over is a bonus rather than a target.

Never chase a loss. Raising stakes to win back what is gone is the quickest way to turn a small, planned cost into a large, unplanned one. The odds do not improve because you are behind.

Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit, loans and money set aside for bills carry consequences that last long after a session ends. Losing your own spare cash is a disappointment. Losing borrowed money becomes an obligation.

Take breaks. Stepping away interrupts the rhythm of repeated bets and gives you a moment to check the clock and your balance with a clearer head.

Involve someone else early, as soon as gambling stops feeling like entertainment. A person you trust can notice changes you might explain away, and it is far easier to talk while the problem is still small.

Tools for capping deposits or losses, adding reminders, pausing play or excluding yourself are arranged by you inside your account at the operator, because this site has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one on, check one or enforce one.

Independent help is linked from every page

Every page of this site, this one included, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations. You will find them in the help links on this page:

  • BeGambleAware
  • Gamble Aware
  • Gambling Therapy
  • G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here
  • GAM STOP
  • NCPG

Each is an independent source of help. These are the only outbound links on the whole site that are not commercial. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when you follow them.

Gambling is for adults only, and the eighteen-and-over restriction is repeated throughout this site, including on the front page. Nobody's age is verified here, and no gambling takes place on these pages. Any check of that kind happens at the destination you choose to visit.

These pages contain no advertising or behavioural profiling network, so nothing you see here is targeted at you because of how you have played or browsed.
